Supper ar UK (kinda exotic)

disclaimer :
this is kinda exotic, if u're not the 'food adventurous' kinda person, do blog elsewhere.. coz it's really not proper to go like ewww, errr or yucks to food.... tak baik.. rezeki Allah tu... enuff said...

This UK that I'm talking about is not United Kingdom or Ulu Kelang... lol... But it simply means Urat Keting.. As in urat pada lembu punya calf / betis .. Please excuse my explanation... Some people says it's pelik and exotic, but as for for it's ok jer... I like to explore food.. as long as it's halal and not memudaratkan, it's fine for me...

The famous dish here is the Sup Urat Keting or Ketin.. However one spells it...


Hubs and i love it very much... Especially me, as i'm an ardent soup lover... This soup is sangat sedap... Terasa kemasaman and kepedasannya... But not good enuff 4 me... I always ask for additional lime... In fact, always asked additional kuah sup...

Besides the urat keting, I love the tomato and celery... The celery sangat crunchy... Rasa macam nak mintak extra jer... Cantekkk ker??? lol...

Btw, it's priced at RM 7.00... Reasonable.. as bukan senang nk process this keting thingy...

Besides Sup Urat Keting, there are also sup Tembusu (usus lembu), Sup Ayam, Sup Tulang and Sup Perut...

Besides sup, this place also has other dishes such as Tom Yam n such and also satay.... Gosh! I love the satay... Guess it tasted better than Satay Kajang kot...

That was how i felt when I received from Megat a beautiful, cute, love, sweet painting of 2 lovely cats with big eyes a bird sitting on top of it's head.... I could only scream...

Well, Megat sangat gigih in wrapping this painting with newspapers. If paper besar xpe, but he uses Metro and combine it using a brown masking tape... Comelll..... (cicak? kuruskan badan? motifff?)

Rite now, ia sedang menunggu masa untuk diframe dan digantung....

Well... Megat... Megat... Dia memang sangat unik and special... Or else, xkan sampai sanggup masuk dalam longkang just to get a perfect pose... As per Waty, gara2 nakkan signboard tupai-tupai :) Thanx for taking wonderful pictures for all these while...

Little Thing that Meant A Lot

Typical Malaysian attitude - when one sees a car looking for a park, and coincidentally they are leaving the car from the particular parking space, they will take their own sweet time to leave and let the other party wait. Worse case scenario is when they immediately leave the parking space when the other party left... Dasar dengki sanngat kan...

But not all Malaysians are like that. There was this gentleman, who is kind enough to indicate his car as he sees us (my colleague n me) struggling to find a park at a peak period. Not only that, he went to his car, walked to us and handed over his parking ticket as there were still valid time left.

His generosity touched our heart... And we sang :)

Complimentary Health Check

Had a health check at Kompleks PKNS - and it was free of charge... As i walked with my colleague, we stopped by at the concourse area as we a medical check held there.

It was a short n simple. First, we need to fill n a form... Submit and proceed to the first counter..

The first counter is determining our Body Mass Index (BMI). They measure our height and weight and the the calculator will indicate our BMI. Ideal BMI should be between 18.5–24.9. Do click here to calculate BMI...

Then off to the second counter to take our blood pressure and blood sugar test. Frankly speaking, i freaked out when i saw the 'needle' even i knew that i wasn't gonna be that bad after all.. But then, i just cant help it.. It was pretty pain tho... Not dat bad la.. But kindly terkejut when the lil needle got onto the finger... Ouchhh!!! Sakit ke? Agak la...

That was it... But smokers needs to proceed with some other test ie some breathing test or so... Then i saw lots of inhalers... ventolin i guess (the one used by asthmatic patients).. And I saw some lung replicas...

Upon finishing I got a goodie bag.... Yeayyyyyyyyy.... Dah la free, dpt gift lagi...

What made me happy when everything's ok... My BMI, BP and glucose level... Alhamdulillah... Wanna always take care... as everyone should be doing...

But apparently, i see that our people are reluctant when it comes to health... Free pun susah nak participate, what more a paying one... Well, health is Wealth!!! -enuff said-
