Heyyyy thereeee...
this is a sequel of my previous post on Earth Hour hour @ Grand Dorsett, Subang... as i've mentioned at the end of the post that i'm gonna blog about the food... so this is it....
According to the hand out invitation, it was an Organic Buffet priced at RM60.00++... We were kinda anxious about what it was gonna be like... or can we tolerate it n all... imagining charcoal bread, lotsa vege n soy... but then, pasrah jer... it wasn't gonna be that bad after all...
Well, much to my expectation, it wasn't bad at all... in fact it was marvelous... i lurrrveeed it...
I am not a sushi fan but i can tolerate certain sushi... Tried one of it.. It tasted great... Just had the right amount of ingredient... Unlike the type that u obtain from Tesco or elsewhere yang sggt kering... erggh... Was really moist but not too soggy...
This is another kind of Japanese sushi... Tried every item... Great.. Loved the fried one- top left... It was kinda like 'fuchuk' with fish filling... The rest ada ala2 4 season gitewww....
This is Sashimi - it's was raw salmon... Didn't actually get the name of it in the 1st place but t hx 2 Sid/Adenium for ringing the bell ... I guess it's Jap too... Since it was raw, i passed... It it were 2 be cooked, harus i have more than 1 as m a salmon lover...
Almost forgotten 2 eat this as mine was cleared by the waiter.. ergghhh... gelap kot... lol... It was great, tender, juicy n soft... The taste was great as the pandan n other ingredient absorbed to the meat...
A cool way to serve Briyani... Instead of serving in lump sum and people ended up not finishing.. It was pre-portioned it and served together with a small portion of chicken, gravy, quail egg n papadom... It such a sufficient portion...
This is simply the BEST!!! We are lamb lover and this made us nuts... The lamb was (purely meat, not fat) shaped into a ball and placed in the shot glass... It was really tender n juicy... It blended well with the mint chutney. Furthermore, to me, the best way to consume lamb is with mint sauce...
Used 2 dislike Unagi @ Eel @ Belut coz of the shape... But now m loving it... It tasted good but cost a fortune... Since it was served here, i had it like 'nobody's business'.. lol.. It was good even it was kinda sweet, guess its normal for Japanese cuisine..
Another great stuff.. The beancurd was layered with a slice of seaweed... The gravy n mushroom tasted good too... I loved the mushroom, it was tiny n cute...
Soft fish balls with slices of seaweed, too.. Best eaten with sauce as it was pretty plain...
A heaven for prawn lovers... nevertheless, i find the batter kinda hard as i was having somekind of dental problem... so just ate the prawn...
there were much choice of fruits but i choose dragon, sungold melon n mango... The dragon fruit was 'crispy' as in really fresh...
clockwise from the blue plate :
tiramisu, mango tartlet, panna cotta & bread butter pudding...
Panna cotta & Strawberry Tartlet

Panna cotta & Strawberry Tartlet
Well, guess i'm in love with Panna Cotta... It was really creamy... I love the raspberry too... No words could explain n i've 2 admit that i had more than one...
On the other hand, these are the product of one of the exhibitor - LOVING HUT... Fyi, they are Dorsett's vegetarian food supplier...
Can't believed that i actually made a remark on (almost) each n every food i had... Please excuse the boredom i might caused while reading this entry...
