Dinner at Tepanyaki, Ikano Power Centre

Having dinner Japanese style - it's Tepanyaki... Obviously the name of this restaurant says it all...

I've always passed by this place but hardly goes in as we will normally check out the opposite restaurant, Pulau Ketam steamboat... Basically this rest. serves Tepanyaki and some other Japanese Cuisine... One grat thing about Tepanyaki is it's fresh, cooked ala minute, and contains well balanced nutrition... And not fattening... Great for health conscious...

The tepanyaki are good. It's cooked together with lotsa beansprouts, comes with rice n a condiment known as 'lobak asin'. But then, it's not that salty. Kinda sour n goes well with the dish. It comes with rice but the portion is kinda huge n i skipped the rice. The texture is just nice as it's kinda moist n juicy...

One special thing that is great about Tepanyaki is the garlic that is cooked together. It just tasted good and crispy.

The sauces that compliments these meals are soy sauce & chili paste. I was being absurd n asked for chili padi... lol... Juz trying my luck tho... But of coz they don't serve those here. The chili paste itself is already hot enough.

Besides Tepanyaki, we had side order - this item here is known as GYOZA. Guess it's something similar to Chinese dumpling - Sui Kaw. Just a little small n thinner.

Just like Sui Kaw, guess the filling is senkuang and prawn, i guess. It's really crispy but kinda oily. Not a good meal for health conscious. As usual, something sinful is normally sedap... Such a good side dish.. Having it was just like eating keropok... Yummy....

As for the beverage, we had Green Tea. I love the glass - it's ceramic.. Sangat chumelll... But can sustain heat... It's small but it's free flow... No limitation...

Well, one good thing about this place is the staff. They are being really friendly n sangat concerned.. Risau sangat we tak makan as we were bz taking pics...

All in all, it was great dinner. Lovely foods n I sangat kenyang... Thanks for taking me here, guys.. Thanx for the treat, Ray n thanx for the lovely pics, Megat... The pics looked so good...

Despite the kenyang-ness, we continued hanging out at McD's, The Curve... Just a drink, of coz... Than we had a 'good time' walking back to Ikano's parking as the doors are all closed... lol.. Sempat lagi took few snapshots at the parking lot for Ray's blog post entitled Amy Winehouse Meroyan!


It was a simple yet lovely evening... I had fun... Thanx guys :)

Red Bag & Shoes from Nad & Mama

Hey thereeee....

M so happy that I received another birthday eventhogh my b'day was over few months ago... It's from NAD RAINBOW and her lovely mum... She wanted to hand over to me dah lama, but we didn't get the chance to meet up... So when we met to catch Debaran AF, she passed over... It was in a big paper bag...

I was so surprised it was a handbag... A red one precisely... Gosh! it's really lovely... I truly didn't expect a handbag...

It came with a gray scarf...

Coincidentally, earlier that day I got a pair of Red shoes from Mother In Law... No wonder she asked my shoe size earlier that week... It matches the bag that Nad gave... Thanx Mama... I love it :)

All in all, I appreciate the gift so much... The bag is one thing... Most important, it's the thought that counts... Thanks a lot Nad & Auntie... I love it so much... mwahhhsx...

PC Fair with Hubs n Cuz

This entry is specially dedicated to my beloved cuzzie, Miss Suraya Aiani, or fondly known as Aya.. Besides her other 1001 nicks on9 which i can't recall of...lol... Selagi x buat, selagi 2 la dia tanya... Fyi, kazen nko ni bukanla jenis rajin nak bercerita... Tapi ko punya pasal aku gigihkan jugak... Ahaks...

Checked out the recent Pikom PC fair at KL Convention Centre as both of us have got some stuff to obtain. For all these while we just discuss through sms, so i asked her to join us to PC fair... Banyak choice n good offerings ***wink2*** So she came down all the way from Banting. Siap withdraw money before going in... Ops! jgn marah...

We walked n tawaf the exhibition centre... We were lots n lots of handouts... Till i had to pass... These manufacturer are so creative in promoting their products by creating 1001 gimics... Mostly 'hot babes'... of coz... So once we find something interesting, we juz grab a pic...

This 'gold man' is from 'Hibikii', i think it's a new brand for speakers n all.. They are also one of the sponsors for the upcoming Kelly Clarkson concert...

Meanwhile, EPSON printers came another kind of promotion. Just take a pic with these 2 gals - be it solo, or group... then they'll get it printed and gave it 2 u within a split second... n it's FREE... the best thing was, i got more than one pic... LOL... Aya siap kena interview by the girls lagi... hahahhaha....

This was at SONY's booth - it's a demo on their 3D televisions. Besides Sony, Samsung & Philips has this kinda TV too... But only Sony had this promo during this PC fair... and the queue was damn looooooonggggg.....

This was at Digi's booth after she registered for broadband... Staff digi yang sangat hampeh actually called he 'Makcik' when she is 2 years younger than me... It's not that we can't accept our age, but as far as service industry is concerned, it's not proper to address a client as 'Makcik'... (Walaupun nko baru dpt title 'makcik' baru2 ni... lol)

Btw, it's lucky draw... Supposedly dapat umbrella, but since it ran out of it, they gave mug instead...

Well, this is our way of shopping for devices... Guess most people are like this, too.... We collected brochures... Studied the specs... Shortlist a few... Pusing lagi to resolve our doubts... Then only we make our decisions.... But he is definitely the one who has to do all the studying part... Siap dok bersila lagi... Then everyone starts to seat around us... Some sat to decide... Mostly, are taking a break after a long walk... lol

After doing lots of considerations, scrutinizing, searching high n low... We've decided... n got our stuff...

Finally....

And here we are, with our 'long awaited' devices...

Sangat kepenatan after the long walk, we had rest before going off... Supposed 2 check out Saloma Bistro but had 2 head home.. Another cousin's engagement... Uwaaaaa... Nak pegi saloma.... Dah la dekat... huhuhu....

Btw, as we were walking long Suria KLCC, we saw a booth written 'Venezuela' with Edil's name incorporated there. Terus teringat Hub's bff, Edil Munawir... So, I immediately grab a camera n captured... Not forgetting to MMS him, 2... Now, he is currently using it as his FB profile pic...

Back to PC fair matter, these are the stuff that Aya got herself... rabakku kerananya... katanya dalam FB... It's her scarlet Toshiba lappy, Sony DSC-TX5 and Digi broadband...

Besides the lappy, initially she was supposed to get a treadmill, but well, considering a digital camera vs. treadmill, if the advise comes from ME, i definitely ask her to go for the digital camera... The best thing is.. It waterproof, n sleek, n cool... n it's Sony... Well, guess my Sony T-300 da ada cuzzie... lalallalaaaaa... owh ya, payungmu dalam simpananku...

Well.. Introducing lil Netty... This was during our first encounter with her... Welcome abroad, Netty :)

And this is one of the main reason of our selection. It comes with a free DVD Writer worth RM 179.00 during pc fair... Normal price is around RM 190.00 or so... Free gift yang lain, be it 7 or 8 stuff, we don't really mind.. Coz when it comes to value, this one is sangat worth it!!!

N sangat slim... N sleek...

Btw, hubs checked out an IT hypermarket at Ikano a few days after PC fair... It was RM 100.00 higher than the one we paid for... Furthermore, it didn't come with the free DVD writer...

All in all, i'm so grateful that we got a great offer... and got the something that i really needed n awaited for so long... Well, i'm blessed with the rezeki that i got... Syukur Alhamdulillah...

To both of you, it was a great day n great outing... Love both of you so much....

Dinner at Austin, Bandar Baru Bangi

It's dinner time with my in laws. We normally check out Chop & Steak (aka Rest Kapal) at either Kg. Baru or Serdang, but this time they've decided on trying something new at this newly opened restaurant nearby...

It has a great decor and quiet a peaceful ambiance. A kind of like Rodeo thingy... Just have a look at the lighting decor... Topi Cowboy konsepnya...

The interior decoration brings a Cowboy ambience... Not exactly but the concept is there.. I can say it is a good one... Btw, that is hubby's brother giving a pose...

The salt n pepper is centralized at one corner, instead of putting it as masterpiece. Fine dining restaurant bolehla... ie Italiannies, Tony Romas n such... I kinda like the idea as not everyone consume all these. Well, the item are basically pepper, black pepper n salt. As for the chilli sauce, of course they serve in every tables... One thing I realize here is, Malaysian just love chilli sauce very much when it comes to Western... including myself... hahhaha....

Ok lets hit the food :

sizzling steak - RM 13.90

- as for hubs, it tasted good. The meat is tender. Gravy banyak. But i think it would be better if they seperate the bun instead of serving it together. Coz when the bun toches the sauce yang melimpah itew, it somehow absorbed together so the bun agak soggy / lunyai...
what a word- lunyai... lol

Lamb legs - RM 10.90

Chicken Chop - RM 8.90

Fish & Chips - RM 6.90

- the portion is big and really worth the price...

Grill Fish - RM 8.90

- My personal fav - i had this. The waiter said it's gonna as big as the fish n chips but it was smaller. Probably coz it's been grilled. But it's sufficient. I squeeze lots of lime wedges as love it sour when it comes to fish. Supposed to be served with fries but i change it with potatoes. Served with tartar sauce.

All in all, it was reasonable... Budget per person around RM 10- 20, depending on what u eat... The mango juice wasn't that bad, too... Pretty thick... The food i didn't remark means I didn't have a bite.

So here we are, all filled up after meal...

This is the guy that caught everyone's attention... It's our lil nephew, Yusry Hakimi aka Ucie... He is simply smart, notty yet adorable...
