Our day out at Luk Yu @ The Jackie Chan Restaurant

It was Ray's birthday... Coincidentally I was on leave and we decided to have a day out and kinda celebrate the day... So we checked out Marriot's 3.6 promotion again... Gosh! It was so peaceful to be there on weekday... Parking pun like so near the lift... Despite the rate yg agak berdentum... lol...

Since they've already tried Fisherman's Cove n Shook!, we decided to go for Chinese then... There we are... Dining at Luk Yu Tea House aka The Jackie Chan Restaurant... Fyi, it's the favorite restaurant of Adibah Noor (according to one Marriot's staff, Mr. Rajan)...

Furthermore, I lurveeee Chinese....

These are amongst the meal that we had :

Chicken Bundle with Four Varieties & Bencurd Skin Roll with Oyster Sauce
- well, dim sum has never failed to please me... esp. the freshly made type...

Deep fried Prawn with Salad
- mana salad nya? But the dip is really creamy n yummy... As the prawns underneath those skin are crunchy n juicy...

The best thing about Luk Yu is the Dim Sum... Well, mana nak dapat dim sum for only RM 3.60 rite... Yang penting, it's fresh n not the instant type...

This is Stir fried Prawn Har Mee... Qouted from a prawn mee TV adv, memang betul 'Ho Liaw'.... Guess the look says it all... The gravy was so 'prawnish'... Since it's a promo item, it sorta xde SOP (standard operating procedure)... The first time I came it was served in a deep plate, but that time it was served in a bowl plaks... Regardless the texture n serving style, the taste maintains...

Obviously very knows that this is Fried Kway Teow... Just love this type, whereby it's dry and not soggy... Was supposed to be with beef but i requested to chance... They offered chicken instead... Contains lotsa eggs n beansprouts... Just the way i like it...

Then, we had Chilled Cream of Fresh Mango with Sagoo & Pomelo for dessert.. It was so creamy and cooling...

Beside the items mentioned above, we also had Wantan Noodle, Sang Mee and Chinese Jasmine Tea... The beauty of the Chinese tea was.. it's RM3.60 for a pot... Refill la as much a u wanted. But what do u expect from a promo item... Definitely it was a bit mild compared to a normal one...

Then we went for a movie and checked out Shrek 4- forever after... Sangat best.... Puss was like so gemuk, he had difficulties fitting his boots n belt... Cian dia... Fiona pampered him too much.... But he was so cuteeeeeeeeeee.... Esp when he did the eye expression...

All in all, it was a fun day out... Sggt2 fun, esp on that wonderful day..
Guess once in a while, it's good to get away on a weekday :)
