Ikang Celup Tepung @ ICT

One of the specialty of Terengganu is Ikan Celup Tepung. The local had commercialized it by making its abbreviation of ICT to be a commercial name... If has Shah Alam I-city, Terengganu has ICT plak... lol

This signboard really amuses us la...

We had all these as our late lunch @ Tunch (Tea + Lunch) meal... It's pretty filling n reasonable, tho...

ikan kembong goreng is priced at RM 2.00 each
- the fishes are huge n fresh

sotong goreng -priced at RM 6.00 per plate

fried prawn for also RM 6.00 per plate

accompanied with sauce

All the items are really fresh and tasty... It's so fresh, i could feel the 'sweetness' dekat hujung-hujung... lol... Since it's fresh, it's really soft n juicy. It tasted so good, it's better eaten without the sauce, to feel the originality n pureness of it's taste...

ice cream abc

Additional info :
for drinks, do ask for less sugar as most of the drinks are really sweeettttt....

We were inspired to have this delicacies when a dear friend of us, Edil tagged us on FB, on a plate of Sotong Goreng... They had it in Rhu 10...

Apparently it was a bit far from where we stayed. And we remembered that Dad use to have these somewhere near the beach and airport area. So we headed straight to Pantai Teluk Ketapang and found lots of choices here...

We choose Stall no 9 - Gerai Pak Awang as it was pretty clean n comfy... n the pakcik pun ala2 friendly... Furthermore we saw the dishes that belongs to the table next to us... looks pretty good... n it does taste really goooodddddd....

Then we took a drive along the reclaimed land of Pantai Teluk KetapaNG, by the airport
(not KetapaK as i how i mis-spelled it on FB :)

Jalang-jalang carik Makang

It's a little trip to Kuala Terengganu. On our way there, we dropped by Chukai, Kemaman to check out some local specialties which is so famous. It's a must tho... We had otak-otak, sata, pais ikan, keropok lekor and karipap ikan...

It's at Warung Otak-otak Che Wan... A really famous spot as most of the customers are from other states... KL and Johorean mostly...

Just take a turn at Masjid Geliga, straight ahead till u meet a T-junction... Take right... Warung Che Wan is located on your right... Opposite bungalows...

Opens at around 2.30 pm till dusk...

The otak-otak are cooked using the traditional way - arang!!! No gas whatsoever...

otak-otak

stick of sata

sata

the otak-otak contains real fish inside..

Pais ikan selar kuning...
priced at RM1.00 each

KARIPAPISH - bak kata Megat...
one good thing about karipap in Terengganu is the fish filling...
not the normal potato type...
a colleague of mine, Sabrina loves it so much, she calls it 'dadah grade A' lol

Then we dropped by a stall selling keropok lekor... Its made fresh and fried to order... Gosh!! it's sangat sedap... Very the fishish... Not like the ones in town yang banyak tepung jer, n so tough... This is so pure as the content of fish are aplenty... Harga ok lak 2...

As we reached Kuala Terengganu, we checked out the pasa malam.. True that all nite markets are merely the same... but we juz love to see other pasar malam of a different place and state...

We brought a traditional putu piring which is known as Putu Kuning... It yellow, made of beras... The taste ada ala-ala berempah di hujung-hujung... hahaha... A pack of 3 for RM 1.oo...

Cuci Lagiiii

Off to watch Cuci The Musical 2 at Istana Budaya.. This is my second time watching it but the 1st time for this season... The first time was in November 2009 with Dr. Joey... This time was still with him but I dragged hubbs along...

masa untuk 'mencuci'......

Joeyyyyyy yang owez as bz as a bee.....

We got the tickets via ticket2u.biz... It was as easy as ABC... Despite the fair amount of surcharge imposed, it saved us the hassle of purchasing via the counter... The time, fuel, park and all...

All we need to do was to log in, select the date, seat and all.. Pay via credit / debit card... and it's done... As convenient as purchasing movie tickets online.... Just print the booking confirmation and redeem it via the counter...

Surprisingly, eventho it was only the second day, it was almost full... Trying to find the weekend show, as we expected, it's a bit difficult as mostly were sold.. way 2 go, CTM2!!!

While waiting for the show to start and Joey 2 arrive, we took few snapshots... I love this corner where we can put our face inside and become one of the 'Cuci-cuci Services' punya team member...

didn't fit well 2 me...

but fits well 2 him...

But need to be extra careful especially for girls with heels...

All in all it was a great one... Probably the 1st season was better as of Adibah Noor and AC but Nabil and Jac is great!!! All of them were superb i gave 2 thumbs up... I laugh n laugh the whole way trough, especially the part when the cast pun tergelak sama... lol

Sangat bestt!!! The storyline might be the same but there are elements where they added accordingly that made it even more interesting...

Went back straight away after the show ends and skipped the autograph part... We were just too tired and the next day was another working day... Furthurmore, we already had our chance before...

one last shot before leaving IB...

Then we dropped by at Kampung Baru and had Kelantanese delicacies as our dinner cum supper cum sahur...

Guess this place is considered heaven for Kelantanese as the number of choices are aplenty, served fresh with reasonable prices. The nasi campur (and other cuisine) were ready at around 1am... It probably cater for people with night life...

We tried the 'percik' - satay paru & kerang (top left) and roti tempayan (top right). The roti tempayan had great texture n softness but as for the taste wise (sorry 2 say), it just doesn't suit our tastebuds- a bit too sweet la... Served with kuah kacang but even we requested for curry, it was till sweet... So does other meals...

Answer :
No lah!!!! It's not that they each have at least 2 double letters... It' not that easy...

---> In all the word listed, if u take the 1st letter, place it at the end of the word, and then spell it backward, it be the same word...

Learning Poco-poco

I'm newww in poco-poco even-though it existed for ages...

Got the opportunity 2 learn it yesterday... It was really unplanned. Came 2 the office n my boss informed that there's a training session. I didn't wanna go as i didn't have a proper cloth. But when the thing started, i stepped in my office attire and got hooked to it... Despite my clothing n shoes... Thank goodness i wasn't in Baju Kurung or Kebaya...

At first i was skeptical but as i roughly got the hang of it.. I went on and on for around an hour...

Still have a lot 2 improved. But the steps are quite ok... it goes something like :
- 2 steps to the right...
- 2 steps to the left...
- step right foot back...
- left heel
- right toe
- left heel
- bring feet together
- and turn 90 degrees anti clockwise
- repeat...
(correct me if i'm wrong)

M sure there are more to go and much more to learn... Quite anxious to wait for Tuesday for the real thingy... Coz if are wrong, u'll somehow bother next the person who got the steps right... As it worked from 4 angles...
