The Yearly Berbuka

It's time with the girls!!!

Iftar together has always been our yearly do... Guess it was since 2000 or few years after we left school. It started from one hotel to another. Now we have a pot luck one at one of our houses... It's way more economical n convenient... Sangatttt...

 

 

This time it took place at Nadira & Adam's residence which is located at Riana Green Condo somewhere around Tropicana... Her house? omg!!! Superb... It's fully furnish with such an exclusive touch...

 Just to share some highlights of the cuisine :

 Zarina made this truffle which she got the recipe from Glam magazine.. the ingredient were so rich...  

Just have a look at the strawberries n peach topping.. sprinkled with almond flakes...

 Zilah brought this blueberry cheese tart... Her newly found recipe..

 

 

 Marissa is always good in making chicken pie - her Mum's secret recipe... No doubt it is so damn delicious with chunk of chicken in creamy filling... The skin is well baked. Nor like the ones i got elsewhere, which the skin 's inner layer alwas x berapa masak..

 This is the killer item - tempoyak!!

 As we had our time together, the guys were busy watching TV...
Glad all of them got along well...

 Melaram with Zilah's Ted Baker which she uses to carry 'botol susu' n stuff..

 Simply love the durable material plus the  cute ribbon :)

Missing Dad on Father's Day

Wishing a Happy Fathers Day to all dads of the world... Indeed u guys are blessed with wonderful kids to prolong your generation...

As for me, I stopped celebrating Father's Day with my biological dad since 2006...
Surah Fatihah, Yasin.. n such... are the only gift that i could give...

As per my cousin's, Bulan Kayangan :

Despite the fact i've lost my dad... I still have my Father in law & wonderful uncles to cherish... May they be blessed with good health, longevity, prosperity, n wellness...

All in all, i miss dad... semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke rohnya.. ditempatkan dikalangan orang2 beriman...

From Bali & NZ with love...

A dear friend, Zarina got back from Bali n got me a body scrub with avocado extract.. It's cool one, well Bali is always known for it's spa n rejuvenation.. So at least I can have a taste of it at home...

 

Most important, she got the Bali Fridge Magnet which I asked her to.. Thus extend my HRC FM to six (baru 6 :). Still a long way to go.. (Anyone flying abroad pls lemme know.. Lol) 

Well she's a collector too.. In fact she the one who inspires me :D

Meanwhile, Edil's sister, Izan is back from New Zealand n got me 2 bars of Whittaker's Dark Chocolate - Dark Ghana & Ghana Peppermint.. Personally delivered to me..

How blissful. Thanks a bunch.. Appreciate it!! 

From Singapore with ♥

It was such a lovely day when I got 2 gifts from Singapore..

The first one is a fridge magnet from Universal Studio Singapore. It's slightly different from other USS FM that I got, it brings the image of BETTY BOOP! It's an animated character - but sucha hot n sexy one.. Loving the lips.. Mwahhhsx... (Megat pun kata cantekk :)

Later in the evening, Azim called said he was on his way to hand over the dark chocolate sticks that I ordered from my lovely sista, Lina ratu Drama.. It's mint, coffee n orange dark chocolate sticks. Plus another one which contains 75% of cocoa.. I wanted 80% but it wasn't available.. As for me - the darker, the better.. But is is pretty cool too..

Been with Azim for a while, Lina pun will be here in 10 days time. Btw, thx 2 both of u.. Sebaik dark choc ✗ bertukar jadi DIN DANG or TORA!! Lol

Another Birthday Surprise :D

As I thought all the birthday thingy is over (besides the karaoke date with my Assunta buddies), there was another surprise which I least expect (so does others)..

Blissful Birthday Ever

It was my birthday!!! I didn't plan for celebration nor any grand occasion.. Apparently I juz had little celebration with my loved one... Coincidentally there were few events that made my birthday a special one... Guess less is more... All these really touches my heart..

Family Celebration

The first occasion is with my beloved Keluarga Al-Bajuri.. It was in conjunction with our monthly meeting.. Since it was gonna be take place on the 27th (a day before our birthday), my so called twin n i decided to have our birthday celebration.. Along with other February celebrants... Guess the last time we celebrated it was way back in the primary school days...

Cerebrating it with all February babies... The one in brown top is Eila.. We calls ourselves 'twin' as we were both born on February 28th.. 35 years ago... She was born at around 3pm and i got out a lil later, 11.52pm... Thank goodness i was 8 minutes earlier... Or else i'll be celebrating my birthday once in 4 years... Fyi, the year we were born in was a leap year.. Happy birthday my dear twin!!! Thanx for being sucha great cuz...

Surprise from Zarina

Zarina is my bff eversince were in Assunta... I've calculated and realized that we've been friends for 20 years :o I'm so glad our friendship stays this long.. and more years to come...

She called early in the morning asked for my plan.. She invited for breakfast but i had to decline as i had other plan with hubs... She called back 10 minutes later and said she's at my doorstep.. OMG!!! I'm not a bit ready n came down with such an unrepresentable look... She came over for a Happy Birthday Wish n handed over some cuppies (she a cuppie tokeh!!)...

♥Anniversary Surprise at Singgahsana ♥

It was our Anniversary!!! Coincidentally we gonna put up a night at Singgahsana, PJ due to work related issue.. I plan to have a lil surprise for hubs... Furthurmore, his time were a little too constrain for celebration as he had to focus on an upcoming important meeting.

Therefore, I made plans with help from Hotel Siggahsana's Front Office Manager, En. Shukur...

On the check in date, I had my plans worked out.. The point is to get the cake in the room by the time he got there... But takkan cake jer kan, i got other little stuff as an accompaniment as well..

So on the very day, I told him i was going to hit the office n got my plans worked out :

- picked up some roses from my colleague

- got some balloons from balloon buzz

- head to Kelana Jaya to fetch the carrot walnut cake which i pre-ordered from Laily's Patisserie  (note : ia sangat sedap.. x too soda-rish)

- drove all way to Singgahsana to pass the items to En. Shukur and his team

Thank goodness the room was already VC (vacant clean - ready to check in) by the time i arrived. So with help of the Front Office team, I went up to the room and arranged all the props...

Ok here we are... All stuff were ready and i left... Just wait for him to arrive... 

May He Gain Speedy Recovery

Visited my colleague's son at Pediatric Care Unit, PPUM...

Seeing this 4 year old boy lying there.. helpless... in pain.... with all the medical gadgets is sufficient enough to make anyone falls apart...

He is admitted due to fit / sawan... initially, this case was referred from Darul Ehsan Medical Center of Shah Alam...

Need not say much about it... Everyone is praying n hoping that he will recover soon.. really soon.. Furthermore, my colleague is currently expecting another baby... and depression is certainly a big NO NO for her... Please get well really soon, Isma yg chumells... Ciannn Ibu... n Ayah...

Ya Allah... 

Sembuhkanlah SHAFIQ ISMA B. ROSDI dengan kadar segera...

Dan permudahkanlah segala urusan...

Great Time Together

I don't need to do ridiculous stuff to have fun..

According to Megat & Ray, it is better to spend a good quality time together rather than just hang around unfruitful... Therefore, we went Aquaria (waiting for the pics fom Megat)... And Ray's blog posting on BB-ing during hanging out moments really gave an impact... Learned my lesson n tried my best :)

ps : yes Lina, i was indeed wearing the top that i wore when we met in Singapore... I bukan artis yea, yang pakai baju hanya sekali... lol

Glimpse of Singapore Trip

it's a quite a while since i last updated... This time, gonna share a glimpse of my Singapore trip...

Was there with my colleague, Fyza.. Work related matter... Besides that, my intention was to meet up with my luvely sista, Amalina Razali or fondly known as Lina Ratu Drama...

This entry is basically gonna a summarize and contains lotsa pic...

UPON ARRIVAL / FIRST DAY

Arrived via Air Asia at approximately 1pm... Had a lil pose at the airport, took our luggage n grabbed a cab straight to our hotel - Park Royal, Beach Road... Nama jer beach road, apparently it is located in the middle of the town... According to the cabby driver, it used to by the beach as it a reclaimed land...

After checking in and embarked our luggage, we settled down for a while and had a lil walk to Arab Street to get lunch and sim card...

Lina asked me to get this one of Star Hub

Then Lina came over to the Hotel... Missed her so much... Gosh! she was so determined and walked all the way from Bugis MRT station up to the hotel - when actually she wasn't sure where the location was... Cian dia.. Dah la after class... Btw, cute specs :)

Life

He was once my lecturer... worked in a 5 star hotel... doing well... and successful...

Life's an obstacle... went through tough times... and survived...

Met him recently at a flee market... looked so different i didn't recognized...

Seek my favor for a job vacancy... Gonna do my best... Talk to HR and hope there's a position that suits his qualification and capability...

That's the least that could do - for someone whom once taught me F&B (when i had no idea at all)...

Meeting Lina and the whole Clan

My beloved Amalina Razali aka Lina Ratu Drama came down to KL from Singapore and we planned for a rendezvous... along with the whole crony... We planned this so long.. Around 3 months go... I sooo looked forward for this moment... On the other hand, thousand apologies to my beloved cousin, Naz Wellazo as i had to be excused from her wedding at the groom's side, in Taiping... Sowwyyyy sggt k...

December 22nd marks another year wiser of my everdearst Megat Eusofe....

It's Megat's birthday!!! We had a be-earlied birthday celebration for Megat few days ago, in conjunction of Lina's trip to KL.. Since most of us will be down to Pavilion, KL to meet our beloved Drama Queen.. Nad n myself planned to have a lil celebration for Megat with help of Fara n Lina...

After lunch, while lepakking, we excused ourselves too the ladies... kononnya... but we did tho... Then we go n get a lil sumthing for himmm... lalalalaaaa... Hope it worked!! n the cake memang sangat sedapppp.... Choc with orange slice... (x perlu tanya berapa RM ye Megat!!.. lol)

As written in my previous post, it was a big day for Fara's family as it's the wedding reception of her beloved eldest brother, Johari and his life partner, Citra... The event took place at Dewan Cattleya, Wisma PKPS...

we were like dressed way outta theme... lol

It was a pretty remarkable event tho... Not because we were given the chance to take charge... But we go meet all the wonderful people of our beloved DFC family... Adam, Azim, Fendy, Syuk, Capeq, Waty, Neeta, Nad, Nanna and Acap (i didn't leave any1 did i?)... Not forgetting my better half... Mau x meriah??? Segala macam pose ada...
