It's raya time...
Above all the post that is yet to be posted, i'll choose an item that really caught my attention ie a really good one...
Went for our normal Raya visit year do at hubb's aunt's place... We addressed her as Mak Long... She is married to an American and she really cook n baked really well. We were always served by varieties of dishes everytime we were there...
This time, she served us with a freshly baked Apple Pie... She doing it as a business item but she was kind enough to serve us with it...

As i was having my main course, i was drooling for the apple pie... Kalau ikut hati, nak jer terkam dulu... But as far as manners are concerned, i ate patiently... lol
As dessert time arrived, i had my share... Gosh!!! it's damn lovely...
The crust is really crispy... Light and not too oily or memuakkkan... Yet tasted good... This is caused she uses crisco shortening instead of butter... And that's the reason it's really smooth, crispy yet not oily...
As for the filling, it's filled with apple slices and most important is that it's not too sweet... Tasted good definitely... Kalu ikut, I really wanna have another as i'm like so in love with the crust... but i like so segannn...
As for the main course, we were served shelly pasta with chicken chunks, best accompanied by tobasco sauce... Besides this, there were also chicken and beef rendang with ketupat...
As for dessert, i was really amazed by their chocolate chips and cinnamon square cookies... As I was wondering on how things are done, Mak Long actually showed me the recipe book and Uncle Paul was thoughtful enough to make a photocopy on the pages...
This is their big happy family whom are always very warm in hospitality... Thanks for everything...
